Sri Sakthi Amma’s mission is to lead humanity on the spiritual path and to uplift the lives of those in need.

Divine Love World Charity, Inc. is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization established in 2003 to support Sri Sakthi Amma’s humanitarian and charitable initiatives in conjunction with Sri Narayani Peedam and the Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre in South India.

Healthy Breakfast Porridge for Kids Fundraiser!

Beloved Sri Sakthi Amma has blessed the school children at the Sri Narayani Schools with a daily breakfast composed of nourishing, multigrain morning porridge.

This initiative ensures that every child starts their day with the vital nutrients they need to thrive academically and lead healthy lives.

Proper nutrition is crucial for children's growth and development, especially during their formative years.

Unfortunately, many children face food insecurity or lack access to balanced meals. Providing them with a morning healthy porridge can help bridge this nutritional gap and improve their overall well-being.

This initiative aims to feed all the children in both Sri Narayani Vidyashram and Sri Narayani Vidyalaya, belonging to all grades. We will be feeding the children throughout the year (11 months)

The budget for this is ₹2,50,000 per month (~$3,000) and ₹27,50,000 per year (~$33,000)

Women’s Empowerment

(Sakthi Amma Magalir Mempattu Maiyyam) empowers women in difficult family circumstances with the opportunity of stable employment. Most of the women in this program are the sole breadwinners in their families. The initiative started with six women in 2007 and now employs over 70 women. They learn to make organic pooja products and sew traditional Indian clothing. The program supports women by inspiring dedication and confidence, thus fostering their self-esteem.

Support Cows/Gho Matha

cows2.jpeg

In India, the Gho-Matha or cow is considered the Universal Mother as she gives her own milk to all humans unconditionally regardless of caste, faith, social status.

Our beautiful Gho Sala is home to 500 cows, including rare Indian breeds and we also have the Gho Samrakshana programme which saves cows from slaughterhouses, so they can live the end of their days peacefully.

Pooja

At Sri Narayani Peedam and Sripuram, many types of poojas (rituals – puja in sanskrit) are conducted throughout the day. These are open to locals, pilgrims and visitors from all over the world. These poojas include: abhishekam, yagam and gho pooja, to name a few.

Reawakening ancient Vedic rituals is another facet of Amma’s work. The ultimate purpose of pooja is to facilitate connection with the soul through offerings of love. Offerings of love bring peace and joy, opening people’s hearts to follow the dharmic path. On a larger scale, the prayers and rituals conducted by Sri Sakthi Amma are for universal peace and well-being. For those who already have their own devotional path, beholding these rituals may encourage and inspire them to go deeper within their personal faith and practice.
